Brooklynn & Dan – Engagement Session at Bear Mountain Ranch Golf Course

Bear Mountain Ranch Golf Course is such a beautiful setting for engagement pictures, especially if you love golf. Chris Ohta took these wonderful pictures of Brooklynn and Dan. Brooklynn and Dan selected some of the most beautiful locations in the Chelan area because of the story and meaning behind each of the locations.  They chose to start at Benson Vineyards because that is where Dan proposed to Brooklynn.  They had stopped off at Benson Vineyards for some wine tasting before going to the Blake Shelton concert at the Mill Bay Casino when Dan surprised Brooklynn and asked her to be his bride.  They also went to Bear Mountain Ranch which is one of the most picturesque golf courses around.  Dan is an avid golfer and this is a spot which represents two of their passions, Chelan and Golf.

Abe & Taylor – Lake Chelan Wedding

The thoughtfulness, preparation and love put into Abe and Taylor’s wedding was AMAZING!! From wine barrels, old doors and personalized signs, there wasn’t a detail left unnoticed.

Amanda & William’s Wedding – Karma Vineyards in Lake Chelan

Vivacious, Passionate, Creative… These two are going to have a beautiful and fun adventurous life together. They had a colorful wedding up on Karma’s panoramic patio.  There was a slight rain delay, but the storm passed and the day went off without a hitch!  I was completely honored and a smidge nervous to photograph Amanda. She’s a past professional film photographer, which always makes for a fabulous client.  Amanda and Billy were amazing, it was a joy getting to join them on their special day, and they made me feel like another member of the party.  And they both made me melt, what a photographic joy it was to be apart of their day- you’ll see… 🙂

Andrea and Josh have one of those epic love stories.  They were able to come back together, like in one of those Nicholas Sparks novels.  They included their children as their MOH and BM, and I must say, they were probably the cutest little members of honor I’ve had the joy to photograph.  This wedding was close to my heart for a number of reasons, I’ve been lucky enough to photograph a number of the local members of this wedding party, and am even related to Andrea via my husband, so there were a lot of great and amazing wedding guests.  Andrea and Josh also had the most wide range of weather, from heat, sun, thunder, rain, and a rainbow.  That’s one reason why Karma is a great venue- they have a cave for all the guests and a hot little spot for photos.  Best wishes on your new family in Texas, we all wish you even more years of amazing memories!

Lexi & Ryan’s Campbell Wedding

I photographed Ryan and Lexi’s wedding a few weeks ago at Campbell’s Resort in Chelan, Washington. Ryan and his family was from Wales and I was in love with their accents and the adorable little ring bearer! Lake Chelan was an icy glacier blue but the sun came out and it turned out to be a gorgeous summer day.

Larissa & Shelby’s Rio Vista Wedding

What an amazing couple and spectacular wedding! Shelby and Larissa met at college in Texas and ended up getting married in Lake Chelan – one Larissa’s family favorite vacation spots. They had the most touching ceremony on the Columbia River at Rio Vista Winery. This wedding had it all: sandy beach, vineyard, smores, bull roping… yep that’s right! They had an amazing blend of all the things they love that represented both their families. Even down to the cotton for the flower arrangements from Shelby’s family in Texas! We all got the news a few days before hand that Larissa’s dad wouldn’t be able to make it due to an urgent health issue, and I have to say they all did an amazing job remembering to enjoy the day, and she had some special men to fill in on her walk down the aisle. I hope he can view the photos and feel like he was right there.
