For all of you planning any type of celebration, I have catered more than 150 events, specializing in weddings. I am the catering chef and owner of Amy’s Manor wedding and event venue in sunny Eastern Washington.
I have spent my life and career preparing food, studying wine and growing produce and herbs. After my high school graduation, I attended the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. After graduation I spent 5 years working in restaurants in the San Francisco/Berkeley, California area, where I was totally immersed in the food culture. From there I moved back to my home state of Washington and started Willie Greens Organic Farm in Monroe. For 7 years, I grew herbs and produce for upscale restaurants in Seattle and Bellevue area. I sold the business, and today the farm is still one of the premier suppliers of organic produce in the greater Seattle area.
As I was on my way to work in the Napa Valley, I was sidetracked with the possible sale of our family home which is now Amy’s Manor in the Methow Valley. I purchased the home from my parents and now have a successful catering and wedding business. The home was built by my great, great-uncle in 1928 and I am the fourth generation to have lived here. Amy’s Manor was named in honor of my grandmother Amy Neff. The house and grounds sit above the Methow River with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and valley. We have a tented reception site, dance floor and 5 acres of lawn and gardens.

We are so excited to share with you a new venue in the Chelan area being operated by Alice Miller, Owner and Carol Kibler, Planner. Located just 10 miles south of Chelan on 97A and situated on the Columbia River, the setting provides a gorgeous natural back drop.
Alice and Carol started the business earlier this year because they love sharing the most exciting time in two people’s lives. April 21-22 and April 28-29, 2012

AnneMarie & Chris – Karma Vineyards Wedding
AnneMarie and Chris were both on leave from the Navy and planning their wedding here in Lake Chelan. With their busy schedules they enlisted Loreen Jenkins from True Expressions to help plan their Labor Day weekend wedding. They had already chosen their photographer, and Loreen helped with the rest. It was truly a beautiful sight at the end of the day when the doves were released for all to enjoy.
