Kimber and Eloy – Wedding by Lifesong Photography

When my husband and I were planning our wedding back in 2009, one of my ideas were to have a backyard BBQ-type wedding. Sadly, that didn’t happen but when I saw this beautiful wedding from Kristin of Lifesong Photography, I just knew that I wanted to share it. Kimber and Eloy had an beautiful outdoor BBQ wedding with lots of yummy desserts and drinks that took place at the Paradise on the River in Leavenworth, Washington. It was a truly beautiful wedding and I hope you enjoy this wedding as much as I did! Congratulations Kimber & Eloy!

From the bride: Through talking in depth with the pastor who would perform the ceremony, we knew we wanted to integrate something symbolic in the wedding that would reflect not only our uniqueness as a couple, but also have great meaning to us spiritually. The act of washing one another’s feet mirrored a goal that we had focused on in our marriage counseling: to serve one another with humility and selflessness, while still leading by example in an encouraging and positive way. We knew that some of our guests would find our symbolic “pedicure” a little odd, but decided that its personal significance would simply outweigh any criticism we might get!

Adam & Cassidy – Greens Landing Wedding

Although Adam and Cassidy went to the same high school, they never knew each other until years later after graduating from college. They finally met via mutual friends at The Vogue Coffee Shop (hence their Lake Chelan wedding!)

Their wedding took place on a beautiful September afternoon, overlooking Lake Chelan at Greens Landing Wedding & Events.  It had a soft vintage feel, with mason jars, burlap, candles, and fruit pies instead of a traditional cake. And how cute are those pie toppers??

Loreen Jenkins – True Expressions Weddings & Events Planning

From Loreen Jenkins: My love for wedding planning started in 2005 when I got married. I enjoyed every part of the planning process from beginning to end. I was told by my guest that I had a gift. From that point on I have been planning weddings for friends, family & more. I finally started my own business, True Expressions Wedding & Events in 2009.

I have lived in Chelan for seventeen years. It is so amazing to work with local vendors that I have known for years because they are like family. I have a strong sense of style, mixing trends, traditions, inspirations & ideas that I learned from growing up in Boston, living in Florida & Colorado. My desire is to have each couple’s wedding be what they envision and more. I am passionate about providing each of my couples with unique & fresh events by listening to their ideas, creating perfect touches & managing all the details. To create a wedding that will be their true expression of their wedding day!

Josh and Erin – Lake Chelan’s Summer Destination Wedding Weekend

Josh and Erin invited friends and family from all over to attend their weekend destination wedding. It was easily apparent how much Josh and Erin truly loved each other and wanted their guests to have a great time.

The rehearsal dinner was held at Benson Vineyards and the wedding took place on Saturday at one of the many beautiful waterfront homes. Stephon and Stephanie of Claridge Media Photography captured their story.

Nikki from The Cutting Garden created the elegance of the rehearsal dinner and the fun, relaxed atmosphere of the reception.

Pam of Ahl Seasons Catering and her dedicated staff served amazing culinary treats for both the reception and rehearsal dinner.

The groom’s brother officiated the wedding and the grandmothers read selected prose for the bride and groom.

Josh, a school teacher, made sure the kids had a great time. A special candy tray was wheeled out after the rehearsal dinner and a pinata was a big hit at the reception.

A highlight was watching the entire wedding party leap into Lake Chelan.

It was a  memorable wedding on the shores of a memorable lake.

Libby Harrison – Sweet Bliss Wedding & Event Planning

From Libby Harrison: I got my start about 5 years ago when I started working at Wapato Point Cellars in Manson, WA. I was in charge of doing all of their weddings and events. I always had a passion for planning since I was young! I did a few things here and there for friends and family and decided I needed to make my dream come true. My husband and I soon found out that we were expecting our first child, a daughter, Avery Elizabeth. I knew that I wanted to be able to stay home with her after she was born, but would also need to have some sort of income. That’s when I decided to start Sweet Bliss Wedding & Event Planning. It took off like wild fire and I coordinated my first wedding in June of 2008 and from there have enjoyed every single minute of it! Most think I am absolutely crazy for doing what I do, but planning and coordinating are what I do best. From there I started the Lake Chelan Wedding Soiree, I small intimate wedding show that showcases local area vendors. I am now on my 5th season of the show and have had great success with that. I love that I am able to stay home and raise Avery and also have time to do what I love, and that is planning weddings and events in the Lake Chelan Valley. Let Sweet Bliss Events make your wedding or event a day your guest will never forget, by leaving all the details to me!
